Thank you for registering as an overseas voter. If you want to confirm whether you are correctly registered, please visit www.elections.co.za.
Before you can cast your vote in this year’s elections there is one more thing you need to do: you must complete and submit a VEC-10 form which notifies us of your intention to vote overseas and at which South African mission you will be voting.
The form is available for completion and submission online at www.elections.org.za/content/For-Voters/Notify-the-IEC-of-your-intention-to-vote-outside-South-Africa-(VEC-10)/#submit.
The deadline for the submission of this form is 12 March 2014 at midnight (UTC+02:00). If you do not complete the form and submit it by this date you will unfortunately be unable to cast your ballot overseas.
A reminder that voting is scheduled at all South African embassies, high commissions and consulates-general abroad on30 April 2014. Find your nearest one at www.dfa.gov.za/foreign/sa_abroad/index.htm. Please note that 30 April is the only available date for voting abroad and no exceptions can be made.
Should you have any queries you can contact the IEC Call Centre on +27 11 654 1000 (Call Centre is open between 8am and 5pm South African time).
Sincerely
The Electoral Commission of South Africa
