New Immigration Regulations – from 1 June 2015
Kindly take note of the latest information regarding the requirements for children traveling to and from the RSA as per the new Immigration Regulations. This stipulation will be effective on 01 June 2015.
Please note:
- Unabridged birth certificate and parental consent affidavit in respect of minors in direct transit by air to onward destinations outside South Africa will not be required if the passengers remain in the transit lounge at an international airport.
- Parental consent affidavits/declarations can be made at public notaries.
Unabridged Birth Certificate for Minors – All You Need To Know
From 1 June 2015, the Department of Home Affairs in South Africa will require all passengers under 18 to travel with an Unabridged Birth Certificate.
